Below is a listing of all of the Final Fantasy XIII-2 characters, as well as their bios.
Noel Kreiss
Noel Kreiss is a young man wielding two unique blades who appears before Serah. Although straightforward and cheerful, no one knows much about Noel’s past, or how he stumbled across Serah in her time of distress.
Serah Farron
Serah is Lightning’s younger sister. Three years ago, after the events of Final Fantasy XIII, she became a I’Cie. Then, she entered into crystal stasis after successfully completing her Focus: gathering the six I’Cie who were intended to destroy Cocoon, though, as a matter of fact, they were to become its protectors.
Serah is unable to accept that Lightning has suddenly just disappeared. She left her home on Cocoon and presently works as a teacher in the Gran Pulse town of New Bodhum. Serah is engaged to Snow Villiers, the NORA leader, but the situations they are in have prevented them from being together.
Mog
A mysterious little creature, Mog makes himself useful by transforming into a weapon for Serah. No one knows much about this strange animal who calls himself her guardian. Although shy at first, once Mog opens up, he is quite the chatterbox. In fact, Mog teaches Serah and Noel all about the Final Fantasy XIII-2 world and its history.
Lightning
Lightning is better known as Serah’s older sister. Three years ago, a Pulse fal’Cie gave Lightning her a Focus, which was an order to destroy Cocoon. Along with her companions, she dismissed her assigned fate and protected her floating home, saving millions of people.
After the events of Final Fantasy XIII, Lightning was nowhere to be found. It was believed that she gave her life in return for Cocoon’s salvation, or that she may have been trapped in the crystal pillar with both Fang and Vanille. Serah, however, remembers seeing her in the aftermath of The Fall and truly believes that Lightning is still alive and out there somewhere.
Snow Villiers
Snow is Serah’s fiancé and also a former I’Cie. Three years ago, he gained Lightning’s trust. He also received blessings of his engagement to Lightning’s younger sister when he joined forces with her to save both Serah and Cocoon. After the catastrophic events, Snow left on a mission to find Serah’s missing sister. At all costs, the determined NORA leader has vowed not to return until he has found Lightning.
