Square Enix has announced new Final Fantasy XIII-2 download content that will be released in the near future. The DLC will include the Mass Effect 3 costumes for Serah and Noel as discussed here, as well as having the classic Final Fantasy VI monsters, Orthos and Typhon, in the Coliseum mode.
Famitsu shares its first-ever screenshots of Final Fantasy XIII-2′s Mass Effect 3 collaborative costumes, which you can view below.
On March 27th, the Noel and Serah “N7 Armour” costumes will be available for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. The costumes will be priced at ¥300 and 240MSP.

Famitsu has also provided screenshots of Final Fantasy XIII-2′s Orthos and Typhon coliseum monsters which are part of a single monster group. If you successfully beat Orthos, Typhon will then appear.
It turns out that Orthos and Typhon will also be available on March 27th, both priced at ¥400 on PlayStation 3 and 320MSP on Xbox 360.
In the latest Famitsu issue, it was announced that near (or around) February 28, the Final Fantasy XIII-2 will be releasing new download content. Apparently, Sazh will have his own download scenario and Serah will have a downloadable swimsuit costume. Just as a side note, the swimsuit outfit is just for Serah.
In addition, it appears that there will be a new casino game that players will be able to incorporate into FFXIII-2, as well as a knight costume for Noel and an unannounced secret piece of download content.
As for the pricing of the DLC, the costumes for Serah and Noel will cost ¥300 (240MSP). Sazh’s scenario will cost ¥600 (400MSP).

As you know, Square Enix will be releasing download content for Final Fantasy XIII-2 on February 7th. Below are FFXIII-2 coliseum download content screenshots (including Lightning and Lt. Amoda) that show a depiction of what this entails.
Lighting will be making an appearance on Final Fantasy XIII-2′s Coliseum mode. She is not the only one that you will see though. Lt. Amoda, one of the heroes in Final Fantasy XIII, will be joining her as well.
Square Enix made an announcement today regarding the release date of FFXIII-2′s coliseum download content. It turns out the date has been set for February 7, 2012. Also, the download content has been priced at 300 yen on PlayStation 3 and 240 MSP on Xbox 360.
The battle with Lightning is divided into two sequences. Players will first fight against Lightning. Afterwards, Lt. Amoda will join halfway through the fight.

Amazon recently posted cover art for the upcoming Final Fantasy XIII-2 Ultimania Guides, which are both set to release with the game on January 31, 2012.
The FFXIII-2 Battle Ultimania guide has been priced at 1,785 yen. The Battle Ultimania guide includes full details on all of the monsters in the game, as well as a battle system guide and Trophy/Achievement information.
On the other hand, the FFXIII-2 Scenario Ultimania guide is priced at 1,575 yen. The Scenario Ultimania guide includes full details on all routes in the game, in addition to a guide to unlocking all endings, information on items and fragments, and a poster which shows the full Historia Crux system.
